Welcome and thank you for visiting our website. My name is Jonathan Klein, and I was installed as the new pastor at Light of the Valley (LOTV) Lutheran Church on August 3, 2014. I have been a pastor for five years, having graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in May of 2009. Before my family moved out to Utah to serve here in Layton, we were living in Rockford, Michigan at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church. This was my first assignment. I served as associate pastor for five years there emphasizing mainly in outreach and youth ministry. On April 29, 2014, I received the call to serve as the next pastor at LOTV. After much prayer and deliberation, I accepted the call on May 20, 2014. I very much look forward to living in Layton and serving the people here with the truth of God's Word, that God the Father sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to live perfectly in our place and sacrifice himself for us so that our sins are taken away and we can live forever in heaven with him. 

Please join us for worship on Sundays at 10:30 am and for Sunday School and Bible class at 9:15 am. The Sunday School starts again this year on September 7 and is open for children ages three-years-old to sixth grade. We also have a teen Bible class for the middle school and high school age level as well as an adult Bible class.
